Welcome to my website. I’m professor of public administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands. In Oct0ber 2016, I will be moving to the Public Governance Institute at KU Leuven to take up a position as research professor.

Before joining Erasmus University, I worked as a lecturer at INLOGOV – the University of Birmingham, as a visiting senior research associate at the Campbell Public Affairs Institute of Syracuse University (Maxwell School), and as a junior researcher at the Public Management Institute, K.U.Leuven.

My current research and teaching covers the role of public administration in societies and in the state, and specific research interests include citizens’ perceptions of the public sector, government-citizen relations, public sector performance, corruption, trust in government, satisfaction surveys, comparative public administration and governance indicators.
