TROPICO

Work Package 3 of the TROPICO project aimed at explaining what drives public servants’ willingness to collaborate with the private sector in Belgium, Estonia, Germany, Norway and Spain. That was done through a series of discrete choice experiments in which realistic scenarios of collaboration with the private sector was manipulated. Data is available from the Norsk senter for forskningsdata.

COCOPS

The dataset of the COCOPS Executive Survey on Public Sector Reform in Europe – Views and Experiences from Senior Executives, is currently available for download through GESIS. It contains over 7000 responses from top public officials in 21 countries, on topics such as public sector reform, management tools, motivation, performance information etc.

WADO

We organised four Werken aan de Overheid’ surveys (‘Working on Government’) in 2002 and 2003, and 2005/6. One was a face-to-face survey, the others mailsurveys. In total, over 6500 inhabitants of the Flemish region participated. All material available in Dutch. Some material in English. Datasets, sourcebooks and questionnaires available through DANS (Data Archiving and Networked Services), the Dutch humanities and social science data archive.
